Here is an example of how collaboration helps our customers solve real-world manufacturing problems.

Shelmet assisted every step of the way directly with the customer by first helping to identify the problem, and then, to develop the design recommendations that include the most appropriate alloy and close tolerances.

Shelmet prototyped, tested and then cast this part in the investment casting process. This part, cast from 6150 spring steel, holds the sole of a shoe in place while the glue sets or while the shoe is being stitched.

The end result of this collaboration saves our customer time and money in manufacturing that makes the customer's finished product more competitively priced in the marketplace.
